2018 GMC Yukon Denali

Updates have arrived for the 2018 GMC Yukon Denali, bringing along some mild styling changes and a new 10-speed automatic transmission.

The grille on the Yukon Denali has been slightly massaged, while inside, a new Mastique Ash real wood trim option adds a deep finish. GMC says that the new sculpted design of the grille should provide extra air flow to the radiator.

The real highlight for the new Yukon is the addition of a 10-speed automatic transmission to the 6.2-liter V8. Thanks to a lower first gear and higher top gear, the Yukon’s 420-hp V8 should be able to provide more torque down low with better fuel economy while cruising on the highway.

Other standard features on the Yukon Denali include GM’s Magnetic Ride Control suspension, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, active noise cancellation and more.

GMC says that more than half of all Yukons sold are Denali models, which is offered on Yukon and Yukon XL models.

The updates 2018 Yukon will hit dealerships in the fall.
