Audi E-Tron 55 Quattro Range Rated at 277 Miles by CARB
An executive order published by the California Air Resources Board indicates the Audi E-Tron 55 Quattro will travel 277.55 miles (446 km) on a single charge.
This figure isn’t a huge surprise, considering Audi estimates the E-Tron 55 Quattro can travel about 249 miles (400 km) using Europe’s tougher Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). One key difference in these tests is speed – the EPA test only goes up to 60 mph, whereas the WLTP test maxes out at 82 mph.
The E-Tron 55 Quattro is powered by two electric motors (one mounted on each axle) and a 95 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Audi says the crossover can charge from flat to within 80% range in around 30 minutes using a 150 kWh fast charger, while the standard 11 kW home wall charger can fill the battery in 8.5 hours. An optional 22 kW home charger is offered as well, which can reduce charging times to just over 4 hours.

Neither CARB nor the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have provided an official range estimate for the E-Tron 55 Quattro’s most direct competitor, the Mercedes-Benz EQC, although Daimler estimates the EPA will rate its fully electric crossover at over 200 miles. The 90 kWh Jaguar I-Pace is rated at 234 miles by the EPA.
