Hyundai released a sketch of its i-oniq sport concept last December, but it was little more than a paint slash on canvas.

The teaser hinted at a sleek roofline and speed, but was less than a silhouette, not much to go on. That changed today when the company released the first teaser photo, seen above, of their i-oniq concept.

There weren’t any technical details to accompany the car, but at least we know that it’s a hatchback. Obviously this car, just like other recent Hyundai releases, follows the company’s new fluidic design language, something company execs are always quick to tout.

We’re not sure what to make of this yet, but let us know what your thoughts. Do you think this is a hit or a miss? We’ll be reporting details on the unveil live from the Geneva Auto Show next week.
