Highlighting Jaguar Land Rover’s presence at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Jaguar XJL Ultimate will make its North American debut.

Reserved for the most exceptional cars in its lineup, the “Ultimate” badging denotes a level of luxury that eclipses the car’s siblings. That was the case when Range Rover introduced the Autobiography Ultimate Edition, which became the most expensive Range Rover sold.

Now, Jaguar will bring the XJL Ultimate to the U.S. to offer a new height in luxury for Jaguar business customers. Premium features like iPads built into the headrests and separate, fully reclining seats and plenty of legroom thanks to the extended wheelbase will characterize the car.

Don’t expect a different engine, though. The same 5.0-liter V8 will make it under the hood. Jaguar didn’t specify between the naturally aspirated or supercharged version of the powerplant, but given the added weight and exclusivity the Ultimate edition will carry it would make sense that Jaguar will exclusively offer the supercharged version.
