Hyundai ‘Velocity’ Veloster Previewed: 2012 SEMA Show

Joining the Cosworth tuned Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the 2012 SEMA show will be the “Velocity” Veloster, sporting 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.

The Hyundai Velocity Veloster is a race focused concept, and receives 19-inch wheels, a full-body kit, new rear diffuser, large rear wing, and suspension and brake upgrades to make it track ready. The engine gets a heap of Cosworth designed upgrades, including pistons, rods, turbo, intercooler, intake manifold, intake charge design, fuel system, and engine management system. After all the upgrades, the 1.6-liter four-cylinder manages to churn out 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.

The custom Veloster will make its official debut at the 2012 SEMA show.
