Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX Recalled for Brake Problems

Nissan announced a recall today that affects the front brake torque member in about 19,258 Infiniti JX crossovers and Nissan Pathfinders.

Improper casting could cause the front torque member to crack and fail on these model year 2013 vehicles, allowing the brake caliper to move. In that case, the vehicle may experience reduced brake pressure, which reduces stopping power.

Nissan will notify affected owners and replace the parts free of charge if necessary. Owners can contact Nissan Customer Service at (800) 647-7261 for more information.
