Toyota 'TRD Pro' Confirmed for Chicago Debut
At next week’s Chicago Auto Show, Toyota will roll out something called “TRD Pro,” which looks to be an off-road specific package for the Tundra.
A short TRD Pro teaser commercial showing a Tundra that appears slightly lifted with a unique grille, black wheels, a modified-sounding exhaust and a TRD Pro badge on the tailgate is all the company has released so far. Exactly how modified the truck will be is unknown, but it looks like it could be a competitor to Ford’s SVT Raptor, with the likely upgrades coming to the shocks, wheels and exhaust.
A Toyota representative confirmed that “TRD Pro” will be revealed at the Chicago show next week, but refused to elaborate.
It may be Tundra specific, but it could also be a new equipment line that could find its way into other Toyota products.

I really hope its a bada$$ line. I'm tired of the stupid glorified overpriced raptor everyone is raving about.
Don't get your hopes up. I watched the commercial over and over in slo-mo and I'm pretty sure it's nothing but wheels, maybe shocks, little if no lift, and a paint job. I have a feeling we are all going to be disappointed in this. Definitly not going to challenge any raptors with this.
