The latest addition to the Buick lineup has just been uncovered in China.

A crossover that will fit in between the small Buick Encore and the larger Enclave, the Envision (seen above in the middle) will launch in early 2015 in the Chinese market. It should make its way to the U.S. market by mid to late 2015, as a 2016 model year vehicle. It is unclear if the Envision badge will stick with the crossover when it comes to North America.

Power will probably come from either a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four cylinder or a smaller 2.0-liter turbo four cylinder used in the Malibu and Regal. A stop-start system along with all-wheel drive are both likely options for the U.S. market Envision, while a six-speed transmission will likely get the power to the road.

Considering sales of the small Buick Encore have been quite good, the new Envision is likely to be a hit here in the U.S.
