Alfa Romeo will bring special edition 4C Competizione and 4C Italia models to the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

The 4C Competizione is set apart by its Vesuvio Grey exterior color and dual full-length racing stripes. All 4C Competizione models will also come standard with a carbon fiber roof, rear spoiler, mirror caps, side air vents and headlight mouldings, along with dark-finish five-spoke wheels, red brake calipers, and a carbon-trimmed Akrapovič exhaust. The interior is set off with leather and microfiber seats and a numbered aluminum plaque. Just 108 examples of the 4C Competizione will be built, and they will likely be for Europe only.

Appealing to less performance-minded customers will be the 4C Spider Italia. This special edition version of the mid-engine Alfa is defined by its Misano Blue paint, asymmetric five-spoke wheels, yellow brake calipers and a ‘Spider Italia’ side sticker in the three colors of the Italian flag. It also gets an Akrapovič exhaust, an Alpine premium sound system with a subwoofer, a numbered badge on the central tunnel and an aluminium “Italia” dashboard plaque. Like the Competizione, just 108 cars will be produced for Europe.

Both the 4C Competizione and 4C Spider Italia retain the standard 4C’s 240 hp 1.75-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and TCT automatic transmission. Performance also stays the same, with 0-62 mph happening in 4.5s and the top speed sitting at 258 km/h, or 160 mph.

One would expect the naming of "Competizione" to involve something more than just a few new "trim & decor"... like MORE POWER TUNED out of the engine... this "Competizione" instead reminds me of the 70s youngsters tuning: a few BLACK RALLY-STRIPES here and there and a LOUDER muffler...
