The new 2019  Audi A8 is not just a luxurious land yacht capable of covering large distances in astounding comfort — it can also soothe the anxiousness of the typically hectic urban trip as well.

There’s a new luxury flagship sedan on the scene and it’s going for the throat of rival cars like the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. No, it’s not a Jaguar, Audi or something from Lexus, but a Cadillac, born, bred and built in the Motor City.

Less than a year ago,  Lincoln revealed its Continental concept at the New York Auto Show and here we are in Detroit, where it has just unveiled the production version of this large luxury sedan.

Lexus has confirmed that it plans to develop a second flagship model that will sit alongside the LS sedan.

Maybach was the pinnacle of Daimler’s extensive portfolio until a couple years ago when the revival of this historical division fizzled out like a New Year’s resolution two weeks into February. The failure was hardly unexpected as many wealthy individuals had never heard of the brand nor could they afford its products, even with 4,800-month financing.
