The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is the most powerful pony car yet, and it will be participating in the Goodwood hill climb this year in tribute to the late Carroll Shelby.

Leading the way for all of the racing events at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed will be a Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended-Wheelbase edition. 

The existing Cummins ISBe engine can be found in heavy vehicles such as city buses, but the newest motor from the engine firm is going to be in a whole other class, producing the same power as the ISBe in just one of its sixteen cylinders.

Goodwood is this weekend and will feature British sports car manufacturer Lotus, a highlight for the brand’s year after company CEO Dany Bahar was dismissed only to rebut with a lawsuit. 

Mazda enthusiasts attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed will get to see the street-legal MX-5 GT running the hill as Mazda uses the event to gauge consumer reaction to the hotter version of its popular sports car.

On June 29 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, attendees will have the chance to take in a little more than cars running “the Hill.”

The extravagant  MINI Goodwood sports an  exorbitant price tag and is now on display at Harrods in London.

London’s world famous department store will have a MINI Goodwood on display from April 8 to April 22, celebrating the delivery of the first customer cars. Co-developed by the infamous  Rolls-Royce design team, the car features luxurious amenities that would normally be seen in a Rolls-Royce.

In the factory cars department, Toyota will be showing off its Yaris Hybrid concept, Auris Hybrid and Prius Plug-in Hybrid.

Pricing has finally been announced for the MINI Cooper receiving goods from Rolls-Royce’s factory in Goodwood and it’s probably shocking to many, even those that expected an utmost premium for the Rolls-Royce goods. So let’s just get that out of the way with the base-model Mini Cooper Goodwood coming in at an astonishing $68,000. We’re going to safely assume that the $68,000 won’t convert over to America’s market, but even at close to $50,000, that’s a crazy price to pay for a Cooper.

MINI‘s new limited edition Rolls-Royce-inspired Goodwood model, introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show, will inspire a line of luxury models in the future according to a new report. Similar to how the John Cooper Works name has become synonymous with added performance for MINIs, the Goodwood name will be tied to future luxury models. Likely to all be limited edition cars, the Goodwood MINIs will feature high-grade interior trims and paint, often built to customer specifications. And like the Goodwood car are likely to come with a hefty price tag (the Goodwood model is rumored to cost around $50,000).
