Rebeca OlavarrietaSend a tip Rebeca was that kid at the track that everyone thought was just looking out for her father's car, in reality she was 16 years old and racing 1/4 mile with her supercharged Mustang Cobra. There she had the opportunity to get hands on experience in the performance side of the automotive industry. After graduating cum laude with a Finance degree from Florida International University she joined her brother full time at Roco4x4. This off-road shop and store allowed her to immerse into the Jeep and truck accessory market and also gave her the opportunity to build her own truck. Rebeca took it upon herself to do all the mechanical work, including the welding. With this project she won the SEMA feature vehicle award, received by Mopar's president Pietro Gorlier during the 2011 SEMA Show. In 2012 she was picked to be one of the female technicians that volunteered to work in the award winning SBN’s SEMA Mustang Build Powered by Women. Rebeca strives to stay on top of new trends by being involved in print and online publications, critical conversations with manufacturers about new product development and also trying to use the latest technologies available to automate as many operations her own business, but even the busy business can’t keep her off the wheel she has also competed in international off-road events in Venezuela, Honduras, Panama and Germany representing her company Roco 4x4.
