66 Years of the Nissan Skyline in 44 Photos

The Nissan Skyline has had a long history in Japan, over 66 years in fact. Starting out as an unassuming compact sedan, sporty versions of the car started to show up in the 1960s and 1970s. Turbocharging took center stage for Skyline's of the 1980s, and by the end of the decade the mighty R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R emerged.

Although many consider the real Skyline lineage stopped in 2002, there are still new models being produced right up to today. Take a stroll through memory lane with the gallery below.
