When we first looked through our media schedule for the upcoming 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, our eyebrows perked up when we saw that Nintendo had a press conference scheduled for Thursday at 12:10 pm to 12:35 pm.

Obviously our first thought was that Mario Kart was finally becoming a reality, but we snapped back to something that made sense – like a partnership with an OE to include some entertainment in their cars.

But now MotorWorldHype is reporting that Nintendo will be bringing a custom car to the show built by none other than West Coast Customs. Hopefully Nintendo isn’t just going for something loud and obnoxious to show off its in-car integration, but rather something nice and reasonable even though it involves West Coast Customs. We still haven’t a clue what manufacturer Nintendo is teaming up with but the creation will be on display for the duration of the show. This is Nintendo first time ever appearing at an automotive trade show… should be exciting.
