Even if you’re a die-hard Porsche driver of a fan of Corvette Racing, there’s no denying the return of the Viper to sports car racing is a good thing.
Joining the ALMS race at Mid-Ohio today is a two car Viper team. Not expected to compete for the lead in their first race, the two cars placed 10th and 13th in qualifying, a respectable three seconds off the pace of the leaders.
