The Dodge Charger R/T is getting back the Daytona package, outfitting the car with extra styling and added performance. It will make its first appearance at the 2012 LA Auto Show later this week.

Under the hood is a 370 hp Hemi V8, which is found in the Charger R/T. Add the Daytona package, and you get satin black hood stripes, black roof-wrap, 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, and a spoiler on the rear. Exclusive colors are available for the Daytona package, which are Daytona blue, bright white, billet silver and pitch black.

For added performance, the Daytona package outfits the car with a high-speed engine controller, paddle shifters with sport mode and performance steering and suspension.

Interior appointments on the Daytona Charger include leather heated and cooled seats, Daytona blue seat piping and contrasting stitching, dark brushed aluminum trim and Daytona badging stitched into the seats. Chrysler’s Uconnect infotainment system is included in the package, along with a 552-watt 10-speaker Beats Audio System.

Prices will start at $32,990 for R/T models, while the Daytona R/T model will sell for $36,495.

Watch for the Dodge Charger R/T Daytona to bow at the 2012 L.A. Auto Show.
