BMW Z4 GTE ALMS Race Car Previewed in Stunning New Video

With the recent debut of the Z4 GTE race car, a replacement for the M3 GT in the American Le Mans Series, BMW is now showcasing the new model in a stunning video.

As is standard now with all new vehicle introductions, the German automaker has released a video showing off the new Z4 GTE racer, including some on-track and in-car footage.

In addition, some more specifications on the race car have been released. Its weight will be around 2,475 pounds according to ACO regulations and will feature a six-speed, sequential sport transmission that will be operated through shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. The 4.4-liter V8 engine will have around 480 hp with the mandatory air restrictor and simply sounds amazing in the video. Watch it below.
