The new Fiat 500L is heading to America and the Italian automaker’s newest commercial for its five-door model asks the question: “How different would America have been if the Italians invaded instead of the British?”

Undoubtedly poking fun at its competitor, MINI, the commercial goes back in history to the memorable moment that Paul Revere ran through town warning that the British were coming. Except in the ad, it’s the Italians that are invading, and the residents turn to having fun.
