Poll: Acura NSX or Lamborghini Huracan?

Everybody loves supercar comparisons, don’t you? If so, today’s poll is a real treat because we’re pitting the brand-new Acura NSX against Lamborghini’s epic, V10-powered Huracan.

Do you have a favorite between these two speedy, sultry coupes? We hope so! However, if you can’t decide, here are some cold, hard facts that should sway you one way or the other.

The Acura features an advanced hybrid powertrain that’s built around a V6 engine. Now, this gasoline-burner is nothing like the bent-six you’d find under the hood of a Honda Pilot, oh no.

This mid-mounted, twin-turbocharged unit displaces 3.5-liters and delivers 500 horses all on its own. However, it’s augmented by three, yes THREE separate electric motors that goose total system output to a muscular 573 ponies. Torque measures 476 lb-ft.

Shifting gears is a speedy nine-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission. All-wheel drive, provided by two front-mounted electric motors, ensures the reborn NSX never stumbles.

There’s A LOT going on under the Acura’s engine cover, but things are refreshingly simple with the Lamborghini Huracan.

This Italian exotic is powered by a 5.2-liter V10. It puts out 602 horsepower and 412 lb-ft of torque, while spinning to the moon and making all kinds of glorious internal-combustion music. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission routes those kibbles and bits to all four of the Huracan’s wheels.

And with that, which of these two cars do you prefer? Which one would you rather own, the high-tech Acura or the more traditional Lamborghini? Compare them directly right here for even more information.

Acura doesn't have supercar; its like saying that everything that is tuned to 500hp its a supercar. It take prestige and pedigree to call something a supercar. Thought!

You may keep the old one, but my heart, my mind and my gut are still drawn to the new generation NSX. Bash me, ignore my comment and complain that the old NSX is better but I will stand firm that the new NSX SHOULD be the winner because of EVERYTHING!!

Randy Pobst enthusiastically declared the Huracn to be "better than any Ferrari" after he finished lapping it at Laguna Seca. I'll choose Huracn until he officially says No the NSX is better. **but i would still choose the original NSX over the new one
