Lamborghini

Lamborghini, now under the ownership of Volkswagen, is a supercar maker based in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy. The exotic automaker sells two supercars, the high-revving V10-powered Huracan EVO (which shares a platform with the Audi R8) and the V12-powered Aventador. Both vehicles look outrageous and offer blistering performance, with price tags to match. If that’s not enough, there are convertibles of each model and limited-edition high-performance versions as well.

Lamborghini’s Urus SUV, which it calls “The First Super Sport Utility Vehicle”, is actually the second SUV from Lamborghini, as the “Rambo Lambo” LM002 was the Italian automaker’s first attempt at an off-road SUV that was intended for military use. The Urus uses a turbocharged V8 engines and can be had in three trim levels.

Lamborghini Aventador – Review, Specs, Pricing, Features, Videos and More

The Aventador has been sitting atop the Lamborghini hierarchy for quite some time now. Seemingly faster and faster every year, the car now features a 6.5-liter V12 engine that makes 759-769 hp. Power continues to be fed to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission.

Lamborghini Huracan – Review, Specs, Pricing, Features, Videos and More

The Lamborghini Huracan is the brand’s entry level supercar. We use the term entry loosely here as the car costs nearly a quarter million dollars and features a 630 hp V10 engine. Depending on model, the Huracan can be equipped with rear- or all-wheel drive. Both utilize a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission.

Lamborghini Urus – Review, Specs, Pricing, Features, Videos and More

The Lamborghini Urus is the brand’s second foray into the world of SUVs. But unlike the company’s first effort, this is a sporty SUV and not a hardcore off-roader. With 640+ horsepower under the hood, the Uras has all the equipment necessary to hold its own with sports car at the track.

Lamborghini Huracan STJ Could Be The Supercar's Send-Off

Lamborghini has a penchant for two things: V12s and acronyms. This patent filing, uncovered by CarBuzz and AutoGuide, is the latter and hints at some things to come for what is now the V10’s last stand, the Huracan. Filings with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) show the automaker has filed patents for the names Huracan STJ and STJ. What it stands for is more of a mystery. Some V10 Joy? Sayonara V10 Joy? Given Lambo’s previously mentioned love of all words (especially Italian ones) shortened, it’s actually not super hard to extrapolate what the letters might mean.

What Cars Have Rear-Wheel Steering?

Four-wheel steering was once a gimmick, a not-quite-ready technology most famously embraced by Japanese sports cars at the beginning of the ’90s before eventually fading from the market. Revived on occasion in the ensuing decades — perhaps most notably by GM’s ‘QuadraSteer’ pickups — it has seen a surge in applications in recent years, especially among luxury brands.
