Lamborghini has tweeted out a photo teasing the green Aventador SVJ it’s expected to present in Pebble Beach later this month.

While the Aventador SVJ has yet to make its official debut, Lamborghini has already shared a video of the final Aventador variant breaking the production car lap record at the Nurburgring with a lap time of 6:44.97. The SVJ boasts high downforce active aerodynamics, extra sticky Pirelli Trofeo R tires and rear-wheel steering – all contributing massively to the vehicle’s Porsche-crushing lap of the ‘Ring.

Exact power and performance figures for the SVJ are not yet available, however Lamborghini claims it boasts the best handling and power-to-weight ratio of any vehicle it’s ever made. We get the feeling the Aventador’s 6.5-liter V12 is likely making over 750 hp in the SVJ – after all, that’s how much the lesser Aventador SV makes.

The Aventador SVJ is expected to debut on August 23rd, so stay tuned for full details. For now, you can watch the vehicle put in one of the fastest laps of the Nurburgring you’ll ever see in the video embedded below.
