There’s hardly a better time to buy a car than when the end-of-year finance and lease deals start to come out.

This year the hot deal is over at Honda, where, as CarsDirect reports, you can lease a 2017 Honda Civic Si for the lowly sum of $199 per month for 36 months with $2,299 due at signing. Both coupe and sedan versions of the sport compact are offered at this rather enticing rate. As is customary for Honda leases, it comes with a mileage allowance of 12,000 miles per year.

In addition to the lease deal, well-qualified buyers can also buy a Civic Si at a low rate of 0.9% APR for 60 months through Honda Financial, or at 1.9% APR for 72 months. Whether you go for the lease or you buy the car, these offers turn out to be pretty good deals considering the Si’s $25,000 MSRP.

AutoGuide.com recently reviewed the Civic Si and found it to be a fun to drive, refined package with a good manual gearbox and a quick yet very efficient four-cylinder engine. We also observed it to be great value for money – and that was before Honda decided to make it eligible for the same offers standard Civic models are.
