PlayStation fans will soon have the opportunity to drive the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept in the virtual world of Gran Turismo Sport.

The GR Supra Racing Concept was shown for the first time this week at the Geneva Motor Show. The race-ready Supra is intended to give us an idea of what to expect from the production car, but it’s also pretty badass in its own right. The concept features a GT3-style aero kit, which includes a massive rear wing, in addition to slick Michelin tires and a stripped out interior with a rollcage and an LMP-style steering wheel. If the Supra were turned into a time attack racecar, it would probably look a lot like the GR Supra Racing Concept.

That’s what will make it a perfect addition to Gran Turismo Sport. The well-received PlayStation 4 racing game is set to get a major, free-of-charge update in April that will add the GR Supra Racing Concept to all players’ games. It will actually be interesting to see what kind of performance statistics the Supra has in-game, as they may give us a rough idea of what to expect when the road car arrives.

“The Supra was loved by fans all over the world for a quarter of a century as “The Sports of Toyota”, and left a solid footprint in motorsports including the All-Japan GT race series, the IMSA Sports Car Races in the U.S., and the Le Mans,” Gran Turismo and Toyota said. “You will be able to experience its performance very soon, please look forward to the April update of Gran Turismo Sport!”

So if you have a PS4, you can log on to Gran Turismo Sport in April and be among the first to drive the new Supra Racing Concept. Anyone down to put in some laps at Tokyo Expressway together?
