Spy photographers have managed to get us our first look at the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado HD’s interior.

The American automaker itself has released a teaser image of the new Chevrolet Silverado HD, but it hasn’t given us a glimpse inside the cabin. Based on the spy photos however, we can see that the interior will mostly resemble what’s found in the new Silverado 1500, with minor differences spotted on the instrument cluster.

It is believed the next-gen Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD models will use a mixed aluminum and steel body, with styling cues inspired by the 1500. Expect to see unique grilles and distinct trims across the lineup for the heavy-duty pickup.

Under the hood, the 6.0-liter V8 should carry on as the standard gasoline option, while the recently refreshed 6.6-liter V8 Duramax diesel will also return. It’s unclear which transmission Chevrolet will opt to use, but since Ford and Ram are still using six-speed transmissions in their heavy-duty pickups, Chevy should be doing the same. There is however, the possibility the new 10-speed automatic will be used.

Look for the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD to make its debut sometime early next year.
