(Update: the extended cut of the video has now been added to this post below)

Some rapscallion has defiled a historic German racing circuit. Littering the entire 12.9-mile stretch of tarmac with tire marks, gravel, and grass clippings.

That’s right drifting champ Vaughn Gittin Jr has taken his brand of sideways shenanigans international. Accomplishing the impressive task of drifting the entire length of the Nurburgring in his 900 hp RTR Ford Mustang drift car.

The lap wasn’t perfect, and the car spun out a few times. And it left the pavement once or twice. And Gitten says that they used a bunch of tires to do the video. Anyway, watch, drool, and be envious of the first person to ever drift the whole ‘Ring. According to Ford.

A version of this story originally appeared on All Ford Mustangs.
