Infiniti is getting ready to debut a new electric crossover and the first step is with a concept car that will be unveiled at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show in January.

As of now, Infiniti doesn’t have an EV and its hybrid offerings are pretty much non-existent, but making its first EV a crossover is a logical move. This concept car will preview the Japanese automaker’s vision and technology for a new EV platform and debut a new design language.

We are expecting this concept car to debut with at least 250 miles of range and a minimalistic, textural, and high-tech interior.

The first electrified Infiniti isn’t expected to arrive in production form until 2021. We will bring you more information about this concept car when it debuts in January.
