It should be plain to anyone blessed with the gift of sight that the tastes of most automotive shoppers has permanently shifted to crossovers and SUVs.

When it comes to buying a new car, it’s all about value, which is why subcompact crossovers have become so popular these days.

Ford is bringing what it calls its “smallest SUV” to the U.S. market. 

Crossovers are continuing to down-size, as is evidenced by the new Ford EcoSport unveiled today at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

We’ve been hearing rumors of a new “global” B-segment crossover from Ford for some time. Now, the Blue Oval has officially revealed details on its latest EcoSport, unveiled at the 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo this week.

Ford announced their lineup at the upcoming 2012 Delhi Auto Expo in India, mentioning the world debut of a new global vehicle along with a teaser image. General consensus around here is that this will be Ford’s next EcoSport CUV.
