Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi has a different kind of muse for his latest collection. He took his inspiration from the new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu.

Ford is doing a little turn on the catwalk – the automaker is showing off how its car parts can also be used as a fashionable ensemble.

Fashion takes its inspiration from the unlikeliest of places. In fact, one clothing designer’s newest collection takes its cue from luxury cars’ interiors.

Showcasing the entire collection of the ‘Collezione Automobili Lamborghini’ fashion collection, the store opened last weekend to VIP guests from around world, as well as Stephan Winkelmann, the president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.  The opening also included a fashion show featuring the new spring and summer collections, as well as an appearance from the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.

“The fascination of the luxury Lamborghini brand now goes beyond our globally sought-after super sports cars. In this wonderful new world of the Lamborghini experience here in the heart of Berlin, lovers of the brand but also friends of exclusive Italian fashion can enjoy our brand and its values,” said Stephan Winkelmann. “We are pleased to give stylish enthusiasts of Lamborghini, who don’t need to be drivers, a fashionable new Italian address in Berlin.”
