The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been a fine addition to the British automaker’s luxurious lineup, and for the 2013 model year, Rolls-Royce added some subtle enhancements to its high-powered sedan.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost lineup is growing, and a new coupe version known as the Corniche that is coming in 2014 was just caught testing by our spy photographers. 

Ultra-luxury brand Rolls-Royce is appointing a new design director in a move that will usher Ian Cameron out and with him the designs that have come to be synonymous with the marque’s style.

It may seem that Rolls-Royce only cared about its Phantom Series II debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, but the British luxury automaker had a bespoke, two-tone Ghost well hidden in their exclusive on-stand guest lounge.

It turns out that owning a Rolls-Royce isn’t rare enough on it’s own for the majority of people buying these ultra-luxury cars.

Rolls Royce Motor Cars has experienced tremendous success, enjoying a record half-year in 2011. The British automaker has seen an increase of sales by 64 percent worldwide, compared to the same period in 2010. Within the first six months of 2011, 1592 cars have been delivered to customers, and there is continued strong demand for both the Phantom and Ghost.

It seems like everyone absolutely has to make an app for everything nowadays, and Rolls-Royce‘s marketing department didn’t skip a beat in jumping on the bandwagon. The free app released by Rolls-Royce gives users the ability to customize their own Rolls-Royce Ghost, similar to what is seen on their online website customization.

What better venue to host the North American debut of the Rolls-Royce Ghost than the LA Auto Show?

It isn’t every day that Rolls-Royce rolls out a new model, let alone the start of a new lineup of cars. In fact, the most luxurious luxury brand on the planet hasn’t had an entirely new model (based on a new platform), since 2003. Sure, there have been the Coupé and Drophead Coupé, but both of those models are based on the Phantom’s underpinnings.

It’s official, the name for the RR4 will be the Rolls-Royce Ghost. Company CEO Tom Purves made the announcement during the Rolls-Royce press conference at the Shanghai Auto Show.
