Shelby and Roush to Team-Up on SR-71 Mustang

Then there’s the fact that the SR-71 first took flight the year the Mustang was introduced. Plus, Shelby is a former USAF flight instructor and Roush is a P-51 Mustang pilot. And to tie it all together, the car will be built and auctioned off with proceeds going to support the EAA’s (Experimental Aircraft Association) Young Eagles program, which Ford has supported for 15 years running.
