2012 Volkswagen Eos To Get GTI Motor, Corporate Styling

In the midst of our busy daily news gathering, we somehow forgot to bring you these new pictures and details of the Volkswagen Eos hardtop convertible, which gets some fancy new duds for 2012.

A new front end treatment, to better fit in with the rest of Volkswagen’s current offerings, will be fitted to the Eos. But the more exciting news is the GTI’s 2.0T motor, putiing out 208 horsepower through a 6-speed manual or Volkswagen’s excellent dual-clutch gearbox. Manual Eos’ get a Hill Start Assist program to hold the car on steep grades, while upgraded leather surfaces, 17″ wheels and heated seats are also available.
