BMW Group DesignworksUSA has partnered with audio specialist Sennheiser to bring you the S1 Digital Pilot headphones. This new pilot’s headset combines high functionality with a well-thought-out design, heightening both pilot and passenger safety.

Recently unveiled at AirVenture 2011 in Oshkosh, the S1 Digital Pilot headphones fit any size head, thanks to an inner metal band made of spring steel. Boasting an aviation theme, the ear cups are inspired by the sweep of a wing, while thick soft pads softly yet firmly contour around your ears, without ever making contact to the sensitive parts. They’ve even thought about people who wear glasses – these headphones ensure that you won’t be adjusting your glasses constantly.

It doesn’t stop there – the S1 Digital Pilot headphones come equipped with a control module that features a contoured grip and a streamlined interface with high-contrast icons and LED graphics, a NoiseGuard active noise cancellation system, mono/stereo operation, adjustable muting, and Bluetooth transmission functions. You can also connect wirelessly to mobile phones or an audio source with a pair of AA batteries.
