Nissan has announced a recall on 26,626 model year 2012 Armada SUVs and Titan pickup trucks for improper certification labels.

The part 567 certification label does not contain rim size information, which makes it fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110. If you are looking to replace your tires, you may get an improper tire/wheel combination that could cause wheel failure and ultimately could lead to a collision.

Nissan will supply affected customers with a new label that can be placed on the vehicle by the owner, or by a Nissan dealership.

The recall is expected to begin May 14, 2012. For more information you can call the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
