Top 10 Car Makes For Cheating Women

After releasing a list of the Top 10 car brands preferred by unfaithful husbands, AshleyMadison.com, a website dedicated to spouses looking for a little something on the side, surveyed 1,080 of its women members to determine what their most popular automakers are.

Coming in at tenth place is German automaker Volkswagen at 2.8 percent. It’s worth noting that Volkswagen is one of two automakers that didn’t make it on the comparable men’s top 10 list, which only means one thing: affair-seeking women drive Beetles. Okay, we kid.

Cheating women driving BMW s sit in ninth place at 3.9 percent. What is interesting is that the German luxury automaker is fifth place in the cheating men’s list, which just proves to show ‘The Ultimate Driving Machine’ may be that and more. At least some cheating women prefer luxury in their daily driver.

American automaker Dodge came in eighth place with 4.2 percent. The Caravan stereotype most definitely could be applied here also, with plenty of soccer moms commuting each day in the versatile minivan. It may not be hip or stylish, but it’s definitely plain Jane. “Honey, that wasn’t my Caravan at Steve’s house. That was Mary’s!” Oh, but of course.

Chrysler appears a mere 0.1 percent higher than Dodge in the seventh place spot, allowing us to poke fun at the popular Town & Country minivan. Though there’s plenty more Chrysler models that affair-seeking women could be piloting each day, we’d understand if the mundane commute in a boring minivan has caused them to look for a little more spice in their life.

Just like on the men’s top 10 list, Nissan is the first Japanese automaker to appear on the cheating women’s list at sixth place with 5.6 percent. It could be stereotypical to say that most women don’t care about performance in their vehicles, but driving a Murano, Altima, or Rogue everyday can’t possibly satiate their appetite for excitement, right?

Apparently cheating women prefer the Mercedes-Benz moniker over its German rival BMW. Coming in at fifth place with 6.6 percent, Mercedes vehicles have always had a stronger female appeal, offering a more refined driving experience rather than the sporty one BMW offers. So men, if you’re so inclined to get involved with a cheating woman, might as well find one with a Mercedes, right?

Surprisingly, Chevy comes in at fourth place on the list of automakers cheating women prefer. While we’d like to think those affair-seeking wives are driving around town in a convertible Camaro looking pretty, chances are they’re in a more unsuspecting vehicle like… the Volt. Hopefully their fling on the side is within a 30-mile range, wouldn’t want to have to waste gas money to have a little fun in life now would you?

Well at the very least, Toyota believes that there’s plenty of hot moms driving Siennas around town. We bet the Japanese automaker didn’t think those hot moms would be cheating ones. Now as for Toyota topping the men’s list and sitting third on the women’s, we’ll just have to safely assume that the automaker is popular among people in general, not just cheating ones.

Second place goes to Ford commanding an impressive 13.4 percent of cheating women’s attention. That’s almost double from Chevy’s 7.3 percent, so one thing is for sure – the ‘Blue Oval’ trumps the ‘Bowtie’ when it comes to affair-seeking women. It’s also the most popular American automaker among cheating women.

Last but hardly least, is Honda topping the list of car makes for cheating women at 22.3 percent. This just gives us another opportunity to poke fun at the Accord Crosstour model. Listen married men out there, don’t go and buy your wife an Accord Crosstour. She’ll cheat on you just out of spite for having to drive the thing around.
