The fastest Ford Falcon GT ever created is set to debut at the upcoming Australian International Motor Show in October.

Even though its 5.0-liter V8 will remain unchanged from the previous model year, the updated Falcon GT sports retuned suspension and wider tires, helping it accelerate quicker. Power output will remain at 449-hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, and word on the street is that it’ll hit 62-mph in under five seconds.

Codenamed ‘Panther’, dealerships in Australia received a bulletin advising them to forward any production orders for GT-E and GT-P models since they will be unavailable while the limited edition GT ‘Panther’ is being manufactured all in one batch.
