At the 2012 Paris Motor Show, Porsche rolled out its Panamera Sport Turismo Concept giving the world a preview of what a Panamera wagon would look like.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive for the Sport Turismo Concept, giving the German automaker a better idea of whether or not to push it into production. According to Bernhard Maier, Porsche AG board member for sales and marketing, the positive feedback the concept has received makes it “more likely that [Porsche] will do such a car.”

Generally, when Porsche shows off a concept vehicle, the automaker has already decided to produce it. But that wasn’t the case with the Panamera Turismo Concept, where Porsche had no clear decision to build the wagon variant.

In addition, the more aggressive design of the Sport Turismo Concept gives a sneak preview to what you can expect from the German automaker in the future for its models.

Although far from confirmed, it does seem like Porsche is more likely to produce a Panamera Wagon model now, though chances for U.S. sale are very slim.
