While this isn’t actually the sexiest car out there, the shots and angles that went into the making of Ken Block’s Gymkhana Five video are outstanding. Watching Block hoon around the streets of San Francisco is definitely one of the most visually appealing videos we have seen all year. And making it even more impressive, Block will burn through a staggering 40 tires in just five minutes of shooting, thanks in part to the 650 hp that his Ford Fiesta makes.

The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept made its first public appearance at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, coming with the promise that its design will show up on future Porsche models. From the pointed headlight design, to the black and chrome wheels, the Panamera Sport Hybrid is one concept that should not be overlooked.

Powering the car is a 333-hp V6 engine mated to a 95-hp electric motor, putting overall output at 416 hp. Porsche claims the car can manage 67 mpg.

When the Lexus LF-LC concept debuted at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, it stole the show. Less than a year later, the automaker rolled out another version of it, this time in blue, down in Australia, along with a set of photos straight out of Sydney. This beauty is still not confirmed for production, but public reaction was so positive, that a production model does seem likely.

The Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive system features a powerful and efficient Atkinson cycle combustion engine mated to an advanced high-energy battery pack. Combined, the LF-LC Blue concept has an output of 500 hp, which is the most of any Lexus hybrid.

The smallest vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz lineup was revealed this year with all new stunning style. And boosting that style factor, Mercedes released a beautiful set of images, including gorgeous sunsets, super models and yachts.

The new A-Class is built on the MFA platform, sporting a stylish and sporty exterior design, while the interior will feature an iPad-like center console.

This beautiful one of a kind Audi R8 is brought to us by professional skier Jon Olsson. After undergoing major surgery, the vehicle is wider than a Bugatti Veyron and has the same power-to-weight ratio as an R8 LMS race car. According to PPI, when Olsson first saw the finished work a steady stream of excited expletives flowed from his mouth as he found it hard to contain. And can you blame him?

While there isn’t an insane set of photos from McLaren of the P1 carving up mountain roads, this set of shots from the Paris Motor Show is enough to make you drool. The P1 takes functional art to a new level, using the design of the body to achieve 1,320 lbs of downforce. Not only is that approximately five times more than the less expensive 12C sports car, but more than any other road car today.

Apart from the multiple functional contours, the rear wing also automatically adjusts to optimize downforce and enhance aerodynamics.

With its staple widebody styling that has made the Black Series recognizable worldwide, the C63 AMG blends performance into a stylish coupe body packing an AMG 6.2-liter V8 with 517-hp and 457 lb-ft of torque. And when combined with a matte black paint job and red brake calipers, it is hard to keep you’re eyes off of this performance machine from Affalterbach.

Built in mere weeks before its debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, the Lamborghini Aventador J is nothing if not striking. The hardcore super car forgoes a roof all together, offering a true open air experience. Only two of the cars were produced by Lambo, as more of a show piece than anything else.

With screaming engine sounds and stylish nighttime footage of the car’s headlights whipping around winding roads, watching the above video lets you know just how extreme the Aventador J really is.

The return of the Snake was one of the big auto news stories to come out of 2012, and we must admit, the design team over at SRT did an outstanding job. It’s a spectacular mix of old and new: the 2013 SRT Viper is back with more power and sex appeal than ever.
Adopting curvaceous Italian style with the raging 8.4-liter V10 under the hood good for 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque, the car heads in a new direction this generation.

As the fastest sedan ever built by the British company, the Jaguar XFR-S is also a beautiful machine. A revised front fascia with larger air intakes sets the tone while wider side sills, special badging and a carbon fiber rear spoiler too large to ignore complete the package. Under the hood is Jaguar’s 5.0-liter supercharged V8 making 550 hp and 502 lb-ft of torque.

The brand took this beast to some amazing mountain-carving roads, and came away with one of the best looking car videos to be released this year. Feast your eyes on the Jag XFR-S video above.
