With two all-new models already on dealer lots, Cadillac will strengthen its product lineup significantly when it debuts the third-generation CTS sedan at the end of next month.

The brand’s sales leader, the 2014 CTS will bow at the New York Auto Show and is expected to help boost sales by as much as 35 percent for the year. Cadillac marketing boss Don Butler made the announcement at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention. If achieved, the growth would see GM’s luxury division increase sales to just shy of 200,000 units.

The 2014 CTS is expected to hit new fuel economy highs with the addition of a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cyliner engine shared with the ATS, while a 3.6L V6 is tipped to remain. Also on the docket is the brand’s CUE infotainment system.

In 2012 Cadillac launched its new XTS large luxury sedan, as well as the compact ATS, which was crowned with the highest honor of North American Car of the Year.

Near the end of the year details should arrive on the next-generation Escalade, which will hit dealers in early 2014.
