MINI Pulls Off First-Ever Unassisted Backflip in the Snow – Video

MINI has released a full video of Guerlain Chicherit nailing the world’s first backflip in a car.

Extreme sportsman, freestyle skier and rally driver Guerlain Chicherit was behind the wheel in the feat and executed the trick at the winter sports resort of Tignes in France. The trick was done using a static ramp, making it the first-ever unassisted backflip.

By unassisted, the British automaker means that the ramp had no moving elements to boost the car’s rotational movement. Watch the MINI pull off the backflip in the video below.
