General Motors may not be advertising during this year’s Super Bowl, but that’s not stopping the American automaker from releasing a commercial of its own online.

Shining the spotlight on its 2014 Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet has aired the first ad for the latest iteration of its great sports car. And even though it won’t go on sale until later this year, it’s never too early to hear the menacing growl of the Stingray’s 6.2-liter, V8 engine.

The ad is the first of a series of commercials that will focus on the Stingray, with the first one titled “Enemy of the Same.” Its artistic black and white production builds on the automaker’s description of the Stingray itself: “The 2014 Corvette Stingray is engineered to defy convention. Designed to dismiss the ritualistic and the cliché. Created to oppose the expected, abolish empty traditions and explore the unknown.”

Don't like the new one! why would i want or expect the "new" corvette version to look more like a Comaro??? come on? new styles are fun and exciting to hear about but who at Chevrolet let someone intertwine the newest and greatest corvette ever with a "comaro" looing rear end! i'll keep and enjoy my C6 Z06 cause it is the best corvette ever produced.
