No, that’s not the new Ford Fusion. Look closely and you’ll spot the Aston-Martin badge placed carefully on the front end of this vehicle. That means this is the latest four-door Aston, the Rapide S, which has gone through a bit of a face lift to make it faster and more recognizable.

With a 6.0L V12 engine under the hood, the Rapide S is a four-door rocketship, blasting to 60 mph in t-minus 4.7 seconds. That happens thanks to an upgraded engine, which now puts out 550 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque.

The styling changes and new trunklid spoiler help the Aston Martin stay grounded, and the obvious performance tweaks are all present, such as Adaptive Damping System which has three settings: ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Track’, with each dramatically tailored change the handling nature of Rapide S.

The Rapide S is hard to miss at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, thanks to its gracious styling. The major difference from the last generation model is it’s new, bigger grille, and more refined, smoother lines throughout the exterior.

This Rapide S replaces the outgoing Rapide, and will be priced around $200,000.
