Michael Bay has announced yet another vehicle that will star in next summer’s Transformers 4, a Chevrolet Sonic RS Rally Car.

The presence of all the Chevy cars hints that the fourth installment in Bay’s Transformers franchise will follow in the footsteps of the previous movies: GM cars will play the good guys while the exotics will be the bad guys.

So far a retro Camaro has been announced that will undoubtedly be Bumblebee, while an electric green Corvette will play a role that’s currently unknown. It’s only natural that the Sonic will be rolling through the scenes side-by-side with its Chevy brethren.

As for the baddies, we’ve seen a Bugatti Veyron and a Lamborghini Aventador – both of which sport a much darker color scheme. Filming has been underway on the movie and will star an all new cast with Mark Wahlberg leading the way.
