The Salon Privé is self-described as the U.K.’s premier “boutique” motoring event, and this year it will feature the British debut of the Vencer Sarthe, a hand-built Dutch supercar.

The Sarthe made its worldwide debut in Monaco this past April, and now it will be shown on British soil for the first time.

Built on a “hybrid space frame” chassis made of high grade tubular steel, the Sarthe gets its power from a mid-mounted 510-hp V8 mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Weight distribution is pegged at 45 percent front and 55 percent rear, giving the car near neutral balance. Overall weight for the Sarthe is 3060 lbs, which helps it make the sprint to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds.

Safety systems are sparse on this supercar. It only features an anti-lock braking system and electronic brake distribution. As for features, don’t get your hopes up, as Vencer only lists electric windows, in-car entertainment, central locking, and an alarm as standard equipment.
