Jeep has unveiled a 2014 Wrangler Dragon Edition model, built from the popular concept first seen at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exposition.

Adorned with black and bronze satin-gloss exterior and interior treatments, this special edition Jeep is priced from $36,095. Production will be limited and will be available in North American Jeep showrooms this fall.

Painted in black with a matching body-color three-piece hard top, the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition incorporates numerous bronze satin gloss details in the front grille slats, headlights surrounds, and on the Jeep badging. On all four corners are 18-inch wheels in matte black with satin bronze high-gloss outer edge.

In addition, gloss-black appliques are on the front and rear bumpers while a dark charcoal dragon decal starts on the hood and runs along the driver’s side of the vehicle. Finishing touches on the outside of the 2014 Wrangler Dragon Edition include a Mopar fuel-filler door and a black spare tire cover with dragon decal.

The black and bronze theme continues in the interior with heated black Nappa leather complete with satin bronze dragon scales on the outer bolster surfaces, center console arm rest, and steering wheel.

The special edition Wrangler is powered by a 3.6-liter PentaStar V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and can get up to 21 mpg.

“When we introduced the Jeep Wrangler Dragon Design Concept last year, we received tremendously positive feedback,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO of the Jeep Brand. “Our loyal Jeep enthusiasts asked us to build this unique Wrangler, and we are delivering exactly what they’ve asked for.”
