The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee concept is heading to dealer shows where Chrysler will gather feedback that will play a heavy hand in deciding whether or not it will be mass-produced.

The Rumble Bee concept was first unveiled at the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan featuring a style heavily inspired by the Super Bee muscle car from the late 1960s. Based on a 2013 Ram 1500 R/T pickup, the Rumble Bee concept is powered by a 5.7-liter Hemi with 395 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque.

According to Ram’s head of light- and heavy-duty marketing, Dave Sowers, the American automaker is gauging interest and seeing whether or not dealerships believe the Rumble Bee has a place in the market. It’s obvious that Ram would like to make the Rumble Bee a production vehicle, but of course, it has to know that it’ll sell.

Unfortunately if the truck does make it to production, certain aspects of it will not. That includes the matte yellow paint and the actual bee in the shifter.
