Lexus RC F GT500 is Just Plain Fast Looking

Lexus has already previewed the street-legal RC F that will debut next week in Detroit, but it’s a different story at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon.

There, the company is displaying its RC F GT500 race car, which will compete in the 2014 Japanese Super GT series.

Originally finished in a bright orange and black scheme, Lexus is getting ready for the race season by starting with a blank, pristine white slate. The Lexus RC F race car will be compete in the GT500 class next season and is replacing the brand’s SC 430 race car.

In a way, Lexus Racing is ushering a new generation with its RC F GT500 race car and the brand has decided to go with a monotone design for its 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon display. One thing’s for sure, Super GT racers look beautiful without their gaudy livery.
