Light and powerful, that’s the philosophy Mercedes has with its latest sports car, the AMG GT.

Two models of the AMG GT exist, a ‘base’ version with 456 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque, and an AMG GT S version that features 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Those numbers come thanks to a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine, allowing both versions of the car to hit 60 mph in under 4 seconds.

Advanced materials keep curb weight down, while the interior manages to stay extremely decadent. The cabin is laid out like a cockpit, while other interesting details, like a button layout that resembles the engines cylinder configuration, help seal the deal in this hot new sports car.
