Watch the Lotus 3-Eleven Spend Two Weeks Testing at Nurburgring
The Nurburgring is the most infamous and challenging course in the world, and Lotus brought its hardcore 3-Eleven to the track for a punishing two-week German vacation.
The super lightweight, open air 3-Eleven is in its testing stages, and what better place to do it than the Nurburgring? This is the car’s first public outing since its debut, and in its two-week testing and development period, it racked up more than 1,243 miles.
The 3-Eleven is powered by a supercharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 hp, and when you consider that its dry weight is under 1,984 pounds, you can just imagine how quick this little car can be. Lotus claims a zero to 60 mph time of less than three seconds and its unofficial Nurburgring lap time stands at an incredibly fast 7 minutes, 6 seconds.

Is this car for track use only or is it street legal as well? By the looks of this car, I can't help but think; kit car.
