A baby Bentley Bentayga model is in the works, set to debut next year with coupe-like styling.

Rumor has it that the British automaker could reveal a concept version of the faster, more powerful SUV variant as early as the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, sporting more dramatic styling. Think of it as Bentley’s version of the BMW X6M.

According to Bentley product line director Peter Guest, the baby Bentayga will be “much more biased towards on-road performance. But it will still have four doors and four seats.” Sacrifices will have to be made however, with cargo space shrinking compared to the Bentayga SUV.

Expect a more powerful version of the current 6.0-liter W12 engine (600 horsepower, 664 pound-feet of torque) to be used in the new model along with more aggressive bumpers, a sportier stance and bigger wheels. The aerodynamic tweaks will help make it faster than the Bentayga, which already goes 0-60 mph in an impressive four seconds.

News of a baby Bentley Bentayga model coincides with a recent report that Bentley is also considering making its EXP 10 Speed 6 a production all-electric sports car.
