The Bentley Bentayga is celebrating its launch with a special First Edition model limited to 608 units worldwide.

A select group of VIP customers got a chance to check out the Bentley Bentayga First Edition in Los Angeles that features exclusive details such as Union Jack badging, illuminated treadplates and 22-inch black painted and polished wheels. The British automaker chose to limit production to 608 units to represent the metric power output of the luxury SUV, 608 PS.

Just 75 of those models will make their way to the U.S.

As the most powerful, most luxurious, most exclusive and fastest SUV in the world, the Bentley Bentayga is powered by a 6.0-liter W12 engine with 600 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque and it’s also the world’s most expensive SUV with a starting price of $229,100.

But that’s just the standard version. Those fortunate enough to get their hands on a First Edition model will have to shell out $297,000!

Making the Bentayga First Edition unique inside the cabin are “Diamond within Diamond” quilting, bespoke ambient lighting, Union Jack fascia badging, unique contrast stitching and embroidered seats.

Although pricing on the First Edition model wasn’t announced, each customer that purchases one will also receive a unique Breitling watch to complement the SUV. The watchmaker created three high-performance special-edition chronographs to celebrate the Bentayga’s launch: the Emergency, Cockpit B50 and Chronomat 38. Bentley added that the timepieces will be available later as an option for Bentayga customers as well.

“With the First Edition we have created the ultimate expression of the Bentayga’s spirit,” said Kevin Rose, board member for sales and marketing, Aftersales. “It is equipped with an array of striking features that celebrate both the pioneering nature of the Bentayga and its unique abilities.”
